Designed around our most versatile platform yet, Jade X features an all new T3 compression adjustment, a new rebound design and a modern aesthetic. The ride possibilities are endless. The new X series provides the means to explore them.
Since there were less external adjustments, we really had to nail the compression and rebound tune. For this, we created a brand new high flow piston to allow for more shims to control precise points of the stroke. The rebound and compression damping get strong where you need it and back off in situations where the wheel needs to move quick.

This shock is amazing. They took the awesome performance of the Jade and gave it the climbswitch from the Topaz. The shock can be torn down for rebuild using basic hand tools. I don’t have a lot else to say. I have had ( and currently own) every shock DVO makes. This is by far my favorite so far. On top of that, you can’t find a better group of people to work with. You can call the folks that build, tune, and design these things on the phone and pick their brains if you need to. Keep these great parts coming!
I went from a Fox DPS to a Marzocchi Bomber CR which I loved but with no lockout really made climbing suck. I bought a Jade X Pro because it had a FIRM setting which is basically a lockout and paired that with a LS spring. I don’t know what these guys are doing at DVO but I have never felt a more plush ride in my life. This thing just ate up small chatter to where I was seriously wondering what kind of wizards they employed at DVO. The normal root and rock covered trail now felt like smooth pavement, like how is this even possible? Switched it to firm for climbing and it was like I entered god mode. It was so firm but it still was supple over bumps… how is this even possible!!! I don’t know how or why but DVO knows how to make an amazing rear shock. I will be upgrading my new E-Mtb ASAP.
